You can learn more about the most common types of skin and identify what facial might be right for you. Glo Salon offers a customized facial for each skin type ranging from aging skin, oily skin, dry skin, acne prone skin, sensitive skin, combination skin, and normal skin.
Normal Skin - Nourishment Facial
​If you have normal skin, you'll notice small pores, smooth to the touch, neither dry nor oily skin.
Our recommended facial for normal skin is our
Nourishment Facial - Best for normal to combination skin types, this facial includes make up removal, a gentle cleansing with true geranium and lavender, a gentle exfoliation with sweet milk and lavender buds, extractions, contour enhancing massage, as well as a customized masque application and hydration-including a specialized serum and moisturizer. Extractions not included in 30 minute facial.

If you have combination skin, you'll notice oily "T Zones" on the forehead nose and chin. Dryness occurs on cheeks, jawline, outer portion of forehead.

Oily Skin - Balancing Facial
If you have oily skin, you'll notice you skin will be prone to excessive oil secretion, generally shiny. Pores are large and open. Skin is course and subject to blackheads and breakouts.

Our recommended facial for oil skin is our Balancing Facial - This facial includes make up removal, a gentle cleansing with sebum balancing lavender, exfoliation with sweet milk and dehydrated orange peel to brighten and even skin tone, extractions, and customized massage to balance the delicate acid mantle of your skin. This facial is then finished up with an application of our Rosehip and Clay Mint mask, you will leave feeling purified and decongested. Extractions not included in 30 minute facial.

Acne Prone Skin - Balancing Facial
If you have acne prone skin, you'll notice skin that is experiencing excessive oil secretion causing pores to enlarge & open. Skin is congested with black heads & breakouts. Overall inflammation creates redness and sensitivity. Can be related to fluctuating hormones, most often experienced in teenage years.

Sensitive Skin - Calming Facial
If you have sensitive skin, you'll notice reactive skin that is prone to redness and inflammation. Tends to be dry, thin and subject to sunburn and windburn.

Our recommended facial for sensitive skin is our Calming Facial - Red, sensitive, sore skin has found solace finally! This facial includes a soothing make up removal, followed by a gentle facial cleansing. We then exfoliate with sweet milk and chamomile. The Lactic acid found in sweet milk eats away at dead skin so that manual stimulation of sensitive skin is avoided. Extractions follow, as well as a calming facial massage that relaxes instead of stimulates. We then add a soothing customized masque as well as an application of pH balancing chamomile and glycerine toner, followed by softening moisturizer. Extractions not included in 30 minute facial.

Revitalizing Facial - Ideal for dry skin, or those looking to quench the thirst of their skin! This facial includes eyebright which removes make up and reduces eyestrain and softens fine lines. Gentle cleansing with balancing lavender, exfoliation with sweet milk and chamomile, as well as extractions, a stimulating facial massage and an application of our most hydrating mask. Followed by our pure complexion tonic, as well as a specialized serum and moisturizer. Extractions not included in 30 minute facial.
